How to take bookings in Telegram without the back-and-forth

The simplest way is to let clients book themselves in the Beauty Booking Telegram bot and keep only the confirming for yourself. The client picks a service and a free time on your page, which opens right inside Telegram, and installs nothing. The request lands in your app, you confirm it, offer another time or decline it, and the client sees your answer in the same chat.

What the client does

  • Opens the Beauty Booking bot: https://t.me/BeautyBookingClient_bot
  • Taps Start and shares their phone number with one button. That is the whole sign-up: no code and no password. The number comes from Telegram already verified, so the bot does not accept a number typed by hand.
  • Books on your page with your services, prices and free times. The page opens in a mini app inside Telegram, so there is no need to switch to a browser.
  • Gets a booking card in the chat: status, time, address. The card has buttons to change the time, cancel, get directions or contact you.

The client sees their upcoming bookings with the /bookings command or through the "My bookings" menu at the bottom of the chat.

3reminders before every confirmed visit - about a day, 6 hours and an hour ahead

What you do

An online booking in Beauty Booking is always a request, never an automatic reservation. The request arrives in the master app on iPhone or in the web back office, and you decide:

  • confirm the request;
  • offer another time;
  • decline.

The client gets your answer in Telegram straight away. If you offered another time, the client accepts it with a button on the card or asks for a different one - the bot shows the days and hours with room for the whole visit and changes nothing until the client taps "Send the new time". Until you answer such a request, the current time stays reserved for the client.

Which reminders the client gets

Before every confirmed visit the bot sends three reminders: about a day ahead, about 6 hours ahead and about an hour ahead. Each reminder is the up-to-date booking card, so the client sees at once where and when to go and can move the visit if plans have changed. Why reminders and easy rescheduling cut no-shows is covered in a separate article, "How to cut no-shows".

The client can turn off booking news in Telegram in the settings - notifications then keep coming through the website.

Why this beats booking through private messages

Booking clients by hand in Telegram, Instagram or Viber is common practice, and it has honest advantages: it is free, there is nothing to set up, and the conversation feels personal. But as the client list grows, familiar problems appear:

  • The "when do you have an opening?" back-and-forth eats the time between clients, and the replies end up being written in the evening.
  • Free time lives in your head or in your notes, so it is easy to book two people into the same hour.
  • You have to remind everyone yourself, and it is easy to forget someone.
  • Reschedules and cancellations get lost in chats among other messages.
  • A client's visit history is scattered across different messengers.

With the bot, the client sees only real free time, and once you confirm, the request becomes an appointment in your calendar. Reminders go out on their own, and a reschedule or cancellation reaches you as news, not as a message you have to dig for. Personal contact does not go away: the booking card has a "Contact master" button that shows your phone number or Instagram.

Does the client need a separate app

No. The client books for free on your web page or in the Telegram bot, and nothing needs to be installed. There is no mobile app for clients at all yet - only the website and Telegram.

A client who liked your service can share your card with a friend right in Telegram: the friend gets a message with your name, your service category and a "Book" button.

What it costs the master

As of November 2026, Beauty Booking takes no commission on bookings - you pay only for your plan. The prices below are App Store prices in US dollars, and they are the same in Ukraine.

  • Free: the first 50 appointments are free. It is a personal work tool: calendar, clients, schedule and finances, but clients cannot yet find you and book online.
  • Lite: $3.33 a month if you pay for a year ($39.99 up front), or $4.99 paying month to month. No limit on appointments, plus a public page where clients book online, including from Telegram. For a master who works alone.
  • Pro: $6.67 a month paying yearly ($79.99), or $9.99 month to month. Everything in Lite plus a salon: one plan for the whole salon, however many masters work there.

Every paid plan starts with a free month. Prices for 3 and 6 months are on https://www.beauty-booking.biz/en/pro/pricing

What you need to start

  • An iPhone: the Beauty Booking master app is iPhone-only for now, there is no Android version. You can also work in the web back office.
  • Services with prices and a schedule, so your page shows real free time.
  • The Lite or Pro plan, so clients can book online.
  • A link to your page in your Instagram bio, your Telegram channel or a message to regular clients.

There is no online payment or prepayment through the app yet: you settle with the client the way you are used to, and in the app you mark the payment and see the client's balance.
