How to add a booking link to Instagram and Telegram

Copy the link to your booking page and paste it into your Instagram profile through Edit profile - Links - Add external link. In Telegram, put the same link in your channel description, in a pinned post and in the Bio field of your personal profile. When a client writes to you in Direct or in a private message, reply with that same link rather than a list of free hours.

The main rule is one link everywhere. That way a client always lands in one place, where your current services, prices and free time are visible.

How to add a link to your Instagram bio

Since April 2023 Instagram has let you add up to five external links to a profile, and this is available to both personal and business accounts (9to5Mac, April 2023). According to Social Media Today's description from April 2023, the steps are:

  • open your profile and tap Edit profile;
  • choose Links;
  • tap Add external link;
  • paste the address of your page, add a title if you like, for example "Book online", and save;
  • if you have several links, drag the booking link to the top.

The top spot matters: only the first link shows in your bio, and the rest are tucked away in a pop-up list. The menu names in your version of the app may differ slightly, but the path through editing your profile is the same.

To nudge people toward the link, add a short line to your bio text, such as "Booking - link below". A client then sees right away that there is no need to message you in Direct and wait for an answer.

5links you can add to an Instagram profile

How to add a link to a Telegram channel

If you run a channel with your work or news, the link belongs in two places.

  • The channel description. You can add text and a plain link to the channel info. Open the channel, go to editing its profile and paste the link into the description.
  • A pinned post. Write a short post: which services you offer, where you work, and the booking link. Pin it - in Telegram a preview of the pinned message shows as a banner at the top of the channel, so everyone who opens the channel sees it.

When your prices or hours change, there is no need to rewrite the post: the link leads to a page that updates itself.

How to add a link to your personal Telegram profile

Many clients message masters directly. Add the link to your booking page in the Bio field of your profile settings - you can type a plain web address there. Then anyone who opens your profile sees it before sending the first message.

It also helps to set a username under Settings. You then get a short address like t.me/your_name, which is handy to give to clients and to place in Instagram next to your booking link.

What to reply in Direct and private messages

"When do you have a free slot?" is the most common message a master gets. Instead of scrolling through your calendar and listing hours, reply in one line: "Free times and prices are here, pick what suits you - I'll confirm" plus the link.

To avoid typing this every time, save the text as a template. Telegram has quick replies for this: a saved message comes up when you type "/" in a chat. It is part of Telegram Business (Settings - Telegram Business), and according to the Telegram blog from March 2024, these features are available to Telegram Premium subscribers. Without Premium, simply keep the template in your notes or in Saved Messages and copy it from there.

What a client sees on a Beauty Booking master page

In Beauty Booking every master who takes online bookings has a public page on the website with an address like https://www.beauty-booking.biz/uk/w/number_name. It shows:

  • your services and prices - your own, in your currency;
  • free time, worked out from your schedule and the visits already booked;
  • the address of your workplace.

The client picks a service and a free time and sends a request. The booking is not instant: the request comes to you, and you confirm it, offer another time or decline it. The client needs to install nothing - the page opens in any browser, and booking also works through the Beauty Booking Telegram bot. Booking is free for the client, and Beauty Booking takes no commission on bookings.

What it costs: the public page is part of the Lite plan - from $3.33 a month if you pay for a year ($39.99), or $4.99 paying month to month. The first month of any paid plan is free. The free plan gives you a calendar and a client base for your first 50 appointments, but it does not include a booking page yet. Prices are as of November 2026, in US dollars, as in the App Store; details at https://www.beauty-booking.biz/uk/pro/pricing. The master app itself currently runs only on iPhone, and there is also a web back office.

Why one link beats a screenshot of your schedule

A screenshot of free hours in stories or in a chat looks simple, but it has several weak spots.

  • It goes out of date within minutes. As soon as someone books, the screenshot shows a time that is no longer free, and you end up explaining "sorry, that's taken".
  • It has no prices or durations. The client still writes to ask, and the conversation stretches over several messages.
  • It cannot be tapped. The person has to remember the time, write to you and wait for an answer - and at every step some clients drop off.
  • It has to be made again every time your schedule changes.

A link to your booking page shows free time as of the moment the client opens it, together with prices and the address. You spend your time only on confirming the request, not on back-and-forth about free slots.

In short: what to do today

  • Copy the link to your booking page.
  • Add it as the first link in your Instagram profile and add a call to action to your bio text.
  • Paste it into your Telegram channel description and a pinned post.
  • Add it to the Bio field of your personal Telegram profile.
  • Save a reply template with the link for Direct and private messages.
