Client booking apps in 2026: a comparison for beauty professionals

For a master who works alone and keeps bookings on an iPhone, Beauty Booking is the cheapest: the first 50 appointments are free, then from $3.33 a month, with no commission on bookings. A salon with a team, stock and payroll is better served by Altegio. If you want new clients to find you on their own in a catalog, look at Fresha, but it charges a one-off fee for every new client who comes from its catalog.

Below are the facts on each service as of November 2026: the price for one master, the commission, how the client books and what it runs on. We took every figure from the service's official page or from the Ukrainian App Store on 6 November 2026.

• The price for one person, not a "from" price for a large team.
• The commission per booking: a flat subscription or a percentage per client.
• How the client books: whether they have to install a separate app.
• Platforms: iPhone, Android, web.
• Ukrainian in the interface.

Who it is for: masters who work alone, and small salons.

• Price: Free - the first 50 appointments at no cost. Lite for a master working alone - $3.33 a month with yearly billing ($39.99 a year) or $4.99 month to month. Pro with a salon - $6.67 a month with yearly billing ($79.99) or $9.99 monthly, one price for the whole salon however many masters it has. Every paid plan starts with a free month. App Store prices in Ukraine are in US dollars.
• Commission per booking: none, the master pays only for the plan.
• How the client books: free, on the master's web page or in the Beauty Booking Telegram bot, with nothing to install. Every booking is a request that the master confirms, declines or answers with another time.
• Platforms: the master app on iPhone and a web back office. There is no Android app yet.
• Language: the interface is in Ukrainian, English and Russian.

Who it is for: salons and chains that need bookings, clients, stock, finances and payroll in one system.

• Price: for 1-2 staff in Ukraine, as of November 2026 - 420 UAH a month when paying for 1 month and 240 UAH a month when paying for 12 months (5,040 UAH for 1 year and 9 months, bonus months included). Prices exclude VAT (20%). The first 7 days are free, with no card required.
• Commission per booking: none, the pricing page says outright "Без комісії за записи" (no commission on bookings).
• How the client books: online booking and the Altegio.me client app.
• Platforms: web and a mobile app; the Altegio business app is in the Ukrainian App Store.
• Language: the site and the pricing page are in Ukrainian.

Who it is for: masters and salons who want new clients through the Fresha catalog.

• Price: the Independent plan for a one-person business - 245.95 UAH a month as of November 2026, with a 7-day trial. Taxes extra.
• Commission per booking: none for returning clients. For a new client who came through the Fresha catalog, a one-off fee is charged on the value of the first completed appointment. Fresha's help center points to the pricing page for the rate and the minimum, but the Ukrainian pricing page did not show those figures as of November 2026, so check them with Fresha before you sign up.
• How the client books: through the catalog and the Fresha client app.
• Platforms: the Fresha for business app is in the Ukrainian App Store.
• Language: the client side of the site is available in Ukrainian.

Who it is for: salons and barbershops in the countries where Booksy operates.

• Price: we did not find a Ukrainian pricing page. For reference, the US pricing page as of November 2026: $29.99 a month plus tax and $20 a month for each additional staff member, with a 14-day trial. Prices may differ in other countries.
• Commission per booking: the Boost feature is free to switch on, but for a client who comes through Boost there is a one-off commission of 30% of the first visit, capped at $100.
• How the client books: through the Booksy client app.
• Platforms: the Booksy Biz app is in the Ukrainian App Store, and Ukrainian is among the app's languages.

We could not check DIKIDI's price: on 6 November 2026 the DIKIDI site and help center did not open from our network, and the DIKIDI Business app was not in the Ukrainian App Store. So we give no figures - check the current terms with the company directly before you choose.

A Ukrainian service from Binotel. On https://bookon.ua clients search for masters and salons by city and book for free after confirming their phone number. The Bookon Biz app is in the Ukrainian App Store and has 1,138 ratings averaging 4.8 as of November 2026. Prices for masters are not published on https://bookon.ua/business, and the catalog, according to that page, currently works only for Bookon CRM customers.

• You work alone, on an iPhone, and want to pay the minimum with no commissions: Beauty Booking, from $3.33 a month with yearly billing, and the first 50 appointments are free.
• You run a salon and need stock, payroll and branches: Altegio.
• You need a flow of new clients from a catalog and are ready to pay for each new one: Fresha.
• You work on Android: Beauty Booking will not suit you yet, so choose among the services with an Android app.
• You need prepayment through the app: Beauty Booking does not have it yet.

The easiest way to choose is to spend a week in two services with real bookings. Almost all of them offer a free period, so trying costs nothing.
