What can replace Altegio, DIKIDI or Booksy?

A master who works alone needs three things: a calendar, a page where clients book themselves, and a clear price with no commission on bookings. Choose an app that has all three, works on your phone in Ukraine, and belongs to a company you trust with your client list. Below is what is known about Altegio, DIKIDI and Booksy as of November 2026, and what to check in any replacement.

Why are masters leaving Altegio?

The main reason is the question of ownership. On 23 December 2023 Forbes.ua reported that the Russian holding VK, which owns VKontakte and Odnoklassniki, bought 100% of the YClients group, and the outlet called Altegio "essentially YClients renamed for Ukrainians". The same article says Altegio considers itself independent of YClients and that its website lists the company as incorporated in Cyprus. On 15 December 2023 zaxid.net, citing an investigation by NGL.media, reported that about 500 beauty businesses in Ukraine use Russian booking software, 34 of them in the Lviv region. A digital security expert quoted in the piece warns of the risk of access to client databases. According to the outlet, Altegio denies any link to the occupiers. The second reason is the price for one person. On the Altegio pricing page as of November 2026 the smallest team size is "up to 2" staff, the price depends on team size and licence term, and the trial lasts 7 days: https://alteg.io/uk/pricing/ To be fair about its strength: it is a full system for a team, and the Altegio business app is rated 4.76 from 1063 ratings in the Ukrainian App Store (November 2026).

Can you use DIKIDI in Ukraine?

On an iPhone with a Ukrainian account, no. As of November 2026 the DIKIDI Business and DIKIDI Online apps are not in the Ukrainian App Store: Apple's search for the country Ukraine does not find them, while in the Russian App Store DIKIDI Business is listed and free. If you already work in DIKIDI, plan ahead how to export your client list and move your bookings while you still have access.

How much does Booksy cost and what is Boost?

The Booksy Biz app is in the Ukrainian App Store, with the seller listed as Booksy International sp. z o.o., rated 4.13 from 289 ratings (November 2026). On the US Booksy pricing page as of November 2026 the subscription costs $29.99 a month plus tax, each additional staff member is $20 a month, and the trial is 14 days: https://biz.booksy.com/en-us/pricing. Prices in other countries may differ.

Boost is promotion in the Booksy marketplace: turning it on is free, and you pay for new clients. For each new client who books through Boost, Booksy charges a one-time commission of 30% of the first visit, capped at $100 (same source). Booksy's strength is exactly that marketplace: clients can find you where they look for a master. If you need a stream of new people from a marketplace, that is a solid reason to stay.

What to check in a new app before switching?

  • Who owns the company and where it is registered. Search for the name in the news, not only on the service's own website.
  • Whether there is a commission on bookings or on new clients, and when it applies.
  • The real price for a master who works alone: monthly and yearly, in which currency, and whether there is a free period.
  • Whether a client can book without installing an app - from a page in the browser or from a messenger.
  • Whether you confirm every booking yourself or the time is reserved automatically.
  • Which phone the master app runs on: iPhone, Android or both.
  • Whether you can keep clients, notes and income in one place, and whether there is a web version for working from a computer.

Who is Beauty Booking for?

Beauty Booking is made for a master who works alone and for a small salon. The master app is on iPhone, and there is also a web back office. Clients book for free - on your page in the browser or in the Beauty Booking Telegram bot, with nothing to install. Every online booking arrives as a request: you confirm it, offer another time or decline it. There is no commission on bookings - you pay only for the plan.

Prices as of November 2026 (App Store, in US dollars, the same amounts in Ukraine):

  • Free - the first 50 appointments are free; it is a personal work tool without a public page.
  • Lite - for a master who works alone: from $3.33 a month when paid yearly ($39.99 up front), or $4.99 month to month. It adds a page where clients book online and removes the limit on the number of appointments.
  • Pro - everything in Lite plus a salon: from $6.67 a month when paid yearly ($79.99) or $9.99 month to month. One price for the whole salon, however many masters work there.
  • Every paid plan starts with a free month.

Who is Beauty Booking not for yet?

  • If you work on Android: there is no master app for Android yet, only the web back office.
  • If you need online payment or prepayment through the app: it is not there.
  • If you need new clients from a marketplace: Beauty Booking has no map search for masters, no reviews and no master ratings yet. Clients come through your link, so here Booksy with its marketplace is stronger.

How to switch without losing clients?

  • Export your client list and upcoming bookings from your current app while you still have access.
  • Move the bookings for the next few weeks into the new calendar so nothing gets lost.
  • Put the new booking link in your Instagram profile, in Telegram and in your reply template for clients.
  • Keep both apps for a few weeks: let the old bookings run their course and take new ones in the new app.
